Rubel - is a village, it was founded in 1486. Jews settled here in the middle of XVI century. In Rubel there was a synagogue with its Rabbi. The Jews were tailors, shoemakers, mill workers, merchants. The big family of Nosanchuk lived in Rubel. They had their own mill and they worked there.
